PART #4 Tenerife

Poslední erupce na Tenerife proběhla ve 18. století, konkrétně v letech 1704 až 1706, kdy došlo k erupci sopky Chinyero. Tato erupce zanechala rozsáhlé lávové pole a měnila krajinu severozápadní části ostrova. Od té doby na Tenerife nebyly žádné velké erupce sopky. Kolem sopky vede několik nenáročných stezek, které jsou dostupné i pro děti. Kolem uvidíte "čerstvé" lávové pole, poznáte podly "vysypaných" černých velmi ostrých kusů horniny a také černě ohořelé kmeny stromů. Za léta, kdy na Tenerife probíhají požáry, se kůra stromů přizpůsobila tak, že vydrží žár až do výšky 1000 stupňů Celsia, wow!

The last eruption on Tenerife occurred in the 18th century, specifically between 1704 and 1706, when the Chinyero volcano erupted. This eruption left extensive lava fields and altered the landscape of the island's northwest. Since then, there have been no major volcanic eruptions on Tenerife. Several easy trails lead around the volcano, accessible even for children. Along the way, you'll see "fresh" lava fields, recognize the remains of "sprinkled" black, very sharp pieces of rock, and also blackened tree trunks. Over the years, during the wildfires on Tenerife, the bark of trees has adapted to withstand heat up to 1000 degrees Celsius, wow!

Der letzte Ausbruch auf Teneriffa ereignete sich im 18. Jahrhundert, genauer gesagt zwischen 1704 und 1706, als der Vulkan Chinyero ausbrach. Dieser Ausbruch hinterließ ausgedehnte Lavafelder und veränderte die Landschaft des Nordwestens der Insel. Seitdem hat es keine größeren Vulkanausbrüche auf Teneriffa gegeben. Um den Vulkan herum führen mehrere einfache Wanderwege, die auch für Kinder zugänglich sind. Entlang des Weges sehen Sie "frische" Lavafelder, erkennen die Überreste von "verstreuten" schwarzen, sehr scharfen Felsstücken und auch verkohlte Baumstämme. Im Laufe der Jahre, während der Waldbrände auf Teneriffa, hat sich die Rinde der Bäume angepasst, um Hitze bis zu 1000 Grad Celsius standzuhalten, wow!

Dominantou Tenerife je sopka El Teide. Jelikož se na vrchol sopky dostanete pouze lanovkou, kterou si musíte předem rezervovat, tuto turistickou atrakci jsme vynechali a pozorovali pouze z vyhlídky La Ruleta Vista Point.

The dominant feature of Tenerife is the volcano El Teide. Since you can only reach the summit of the volcano by cable car, which you have to reserve in advance, we skipped this tourist attraction and observed it only from the La Ruleta Vista Point.

Das dominante Merkmal von Teneriffa ist der Vulkan El Teide. Da Sie den Gipfel des Vulkans nur mit der Seilbahn erreichen können, die Sie im Voraus reservieren müssen, haben wir diese Touristenattraktion ausgelassen und sie nur vom La Ruleta Vista Point aus beobachtet.

 V druhé části dnešního článku se zaměřím spíše na pobřeží, na které jsme si vynahradili jiný den, než na sopky. Projeli jsme městečko Alcalá, prošli se po útesech v Los Gigantes a dali si koupání v přírodním mořském bazénu Piscina Natural Acantilado de Los Gigantes. Zde jsme také potkali Agátu, polskou influencerku, která se k nám na poslední dva dny přidala.

In the second part of today's article, I'll focus more on the coast, which we saved for another day instead of the volcanoes. We drove through the town of Alcalá, walked along the cliffs in Los Gigantes, and went for a swim in the natural sea pool Piscina Natural Acantilado de Los Gigantes. Here we also met Agata, a Polish influencer, who joined us for the last two days.

Im zweiten Teil des heutigen Artikels werde ich mich eher auf die Küste konzentrieren, die wir uns an einem anderen Tag als die Vulkane gegönnt haben. Wir fuhren durch das Städtchen Alcalá, spazierten entlang der Klippen in Los Gigantes und gingen schwimmen im natürlichen Meerwasserpool Piscina Natural Acantilado de Los Gigantes. Hier trafen wir auch Agata, eine polnische Influencerin, die sich uns für die letzten zwei Tage anschloss.
