Co vidět v Grazu?/ What to see in Graz?/ Was gibt es in Graz zu sehen?

Tak rozhodně vánoční trhy! Ano, trochu netradiční začátek příspěvku vzhledem k tomu, že je více než měsíc po Vánocích, ale právě v období Vánoc jsem tam byla. V Grazu se nachází hned několik míst, kde můžete tyto vánoční stánky najít. Každé místo má své vlastní pojmenování, výzdobu a také hrníčky, do kterých se nalévají horké nápoje. A tak se může během večera stát, že hrníčků (za 2 eura) nasbíráte hned několik a vracet se vám fakt NECHCE! Trhy krásné, českých turistů minimum... Koncem listopadu, kdy jsme tam byli, mi chyběl sníh a také vánoční hudba! Ta dělá hodně...

So definitely Christmas markets! Yes, a bit unconventional start to the post given that it's more than a month after Christmas, but precisely during the Christmas period, I was there. In Graz, there are several places where you can find these Christmas stalls. Each place has its own name, decoration, and also cups into which hot drinks are poured. And so it can happen during the evening that you collect several cups (for 2 euros) and you really don't want to leave! Beautiful markets, minimum of Czech tourists... At the end of November, when we were there, I missed snow and also Christmas music! That makes a lot...

So auf jeden Fall Weihnachtsmärkte! Ja, ein etwas unkonventioneller Start des Beitrags, da es mehr als einen Monat nach Weihnachten ist, aber genau während der Weihnachtszeit war ich dort. In Graz gibt es mehrere Orte, an denen Sie diese Weihnachtsstände finden können. Jeder Ort hat seinen eigenen Namen, seine Dekoration und auch Tassen, in die heiße Getränke eingegossen werden. Und so kann es während des Abends passieren, dass Sie mehrere Tassen (für 2 Euro) sammeln und Sie wirklich nicht gehen wollen! Schöne Märkte, minimale tschechische Touristen... Ende November, als wir dort waren, habe ich Schnee und auch Weihnachtsmusik vermisst! Das macht viel...

Konečně jsem se dostala k úpravám i dalšího videa. Tak tedy představuji vám všem náš zimní GRAZ (ještě natáčeno na starý Samsung - dle toho jde poznat i kvalita záběrů). Každopádně doufám, že vás trošičku inspiruji k návštěvě tohoto města a jeho okolí. Rozhodně stojí za to!

I have finally made the edits to another video. So, I present to all of you our winter GRAZ (still recorded on an old Samsung - you can tell by the quality of the shots). Nevertheless, I hope to inspire you a little to visit this city and its surroundings. It's definitely worth it!

 

 

 

V 30 PO TŘETÍ NA SLOVENSKU?/In the 30s for the second time in Slovakia

Nevím, jak to máte vy, ale já osobně znám spoustu lidí z okolí, kteří na Slovensku byli tolikrát, že to nedokážou spočítat na prstech jedné ruky... no ehm, já DOKÁŽU. Sousední zem jsem navštívila doposud třikrát a z toho dvakrát během roku 2023. Kromě jarní Bratislavy s mým bývalým přítelem. Jsem se vydala na podzim s Alešem a Kačkou na průzkum Malé Fatry. Trochu jsem se těšila, že proběhne tradiční zářijové Rakousko, nicméně, když Alda přišel s tímto nápadem, byla jsem pro. 

I don't know about you, but personally, I know a lot of people from the area who have been to Slovakia so many times that they can't count it on the fingers of one hand... well, um, I CAN. I have visited the neighboring country three times so far, and two of those times were during the year 2023. Besides the spring visit to Bratislava with my ex-boyfriend, I went on an autumn exploration of the Small Fatra with Aleš and Kačka. I was looking forward to the traditional September trip to Austria, but when Alda came up with this idea, I was all for it.

Ich weiß nicht, wie es bei Ihnen ist, aber persönlich kenne ich viele Leute aus der Gegend, die so oft in der Slowakei waren, dass sie es nicht auf den Fingern einer Hand zählen können... nun ja, ähm, ICH KANN. Ich habe das Nachbarland bisher dreimal besucht, und zweimal davon war im Jahr 2023. Neben dem Frühjahrsbesuch in Bratislava mit meinem Ex-Freund machte ich im Herbst mit Aleš und Kačka eine Erkundung der Kleinen Fatra. Ich hatte mich auf die traditionelle Septemberreise nach Österreich gefreut, aber als Alda mit dieser Idee kam, war ich dabei.
