...: MERCEDES BENZ MUZEUM

Jak jsem slibovala, tak činím. Jelikož během neděle jsou v Německu všechny obchody zavřené, vyrazily jsme do jednoho z vyhlášených automobilových muzeí ve Stuttgartu. Mercedes Benz Muzeum se nachází v krajní oblasti Stuttgartu směrem na Esslingen a ze středu města se k němu poměrně snadno dostanete S-bahnem.

As I promised, I do. Beacause all the shops in Germany are closed during Sunday, we went to one of the famous car museums in Stuttgart. The Mercedes Benz Museum is located in the outskirts of Stuttgart in the direction of Esslingen and can be easily reached by S-bahn from the city center.

Als wir nach Stuttgart gingen, mussten wir eines der Automuseen besuchen. Das Mercedes Benz Museum befindet sich am Stadtrand von Stuttgart in Richtung Esslingen. Vom Zentrum fuhren wir mit S-bahn nach des Museum. Wegen Covid mussten wir in einer langen Schlange draußen stehen. Unter anderem mussten wir ein Anmeldeformular mit persönlichen Daten ausfüllen.vDanach zahlten wir ungefähr 10 Euro und ein wenig weiter erhielten wir Tablets / Telefone mit Kopfhörern, auf denen wir die Geschichte des Autos hören konnten. Das Mercedes Museum ist ein großes Gebäude mit ca. 5 Etagen. Der das Museumsführung beginnt in der obersten Etage, wo Sie die ältesten Autos sehen.Das Museum war sehr schön.

Muzeum se nachází v blízkosti parkovacího domu a u Mercedes Benz arény. Pokud se před muzeem chvíli rozhlížíte zjistíte, kolik nadšenců přijelo do muzea svým vlastním Mercedesem a můžete vidět opravdu zajímavé kousky. Těsně před budovou se nachází ještě kovaná socha s autem, do kterého si můžete sednou a vyfotit se jako my.

The museum is located near the parking house and near the Mercedes Benz arena. If you look around before the museum for a while, you will find out how many enthusiasts came to the museum with their own Mercedes and you can see really interesting pieces. Just in front of the building there is a wrought iron statue and a car in which you can sit down and take a picture like us.

Nevím jak to funguje běžně, ale vzhledem ke covidu, jsme stály frontu před budovou a pouštěli nás dovnitř postupně, roušky byly samozřejmností a také vyplnění registračního formuláře pro případ výskytu covidu v budově. Cena za vstup pro dospělou osobu byla necelých 10 euro, hodinově neomezená.

I don't know how it works normally, but due to the covid, we stood in front of the building and let us in gradually, the face masks were a matter of course and also filling in registration forms in case the covid will be in the building. The entrance fee for an adult was around 10 euros.

Muzeum má cca 5 pater, která jsou poměrně prostorná. Po vstupu dostanete něco jako tablet/ mobil se sluchátky, kde si můžete poslechnout historii vzniku automobilu. Prohlídku začínáte ze shora, kam se dostanete výtahem a postupně procházíte muzeum od nejstarších modelů po ty nejnovější. Z moderních automobilů pak můžete vidět autobusy, policejní auta, závodní auta a podobně.

The museum has about 5 floors, which are quite spacious. After entering, you will get something like a tablet / mobile phone with headphones, where you can listen to the history of the car. You start the tour from above, which can be reached by elevator, and gradually walk through the museum from the oldest models to the newest. From modern cars you can see buses, police cars, racing cars and the like.
