Vesuvio + Pompei + Neapol

Čas běží voda. Už jsou to téměř tři měsíce a připadá mi to jako včera, kdy jsme v Římě nasedli na autobus a jeli jsme směr Neapol. Neapol je známý vysokou kriminalitou, nebezpečnými čtvrtěmi a špínou. Proto jsme ubytování tam volili nejen podle ceny a dobrého hodnocení, ale i podle míst, které nám byly doporučené. V oblasti města jsme strávili celkově dvě noci.  

Time is running. It's been almost three months and it feels like yesterday when we got on a bus in Rome and drove in the direction of Naples. Naples is known for its high crime, dangerous neighborhoods and dirt. Therefore, we chose accommodation there not only according to the price and good evaluation, but also according to the places that were recommended to us. We spent a total of two nights in the city area. 

Die Zeit läuft. Es ist fast drei Monate her und es kommt mir vor wie gestern, als wir in Rom in einen Bus gestiegen sind und Richtung Neapel gefahren sind. Neapel ist bekannt für seine hohe Kriminalität, gefährliche Viertel und Dreck. Daher haben wir die Unterkünfte dort nicht nur nach dem Preis und der guten Bewertung ausgewählt, sondern auch nach den Orten, die uns empfohlen wurden. Wir verbrachten insgesamt zwei Nächte im Stadtgebiet.

 

Z Neapolu vede přímý spoj  vlaku do Pompei, (trvá asi 30 minut) odkud jezdí pravidelně autobusy na Vesuv. Lístky na Vesuv jsou dostupné pouze online a je doporučeno je kupovat předem, jelikož na sopce není dobrý signál. My jsme koupi lehce podcenily a díky T-mobile, jsme naštěstí po několikátém pokusu internet na chvíli chytly a lístky koupili.Celková cesta nahoru a dolů nás vyšla asi na dvě hodiny. 

From Naples there is a direct train connection to Pompeii, (takes about 30 minutes) from where there are regular buses to Mount Vesuvius. Vesuvius tickets are only available online and it is recommended to buy them in advance as there is no good signal on the volcano. We slightly underestimated the purchase and thanks to T-mobile, fortunately we caught the internet for a while after several attempts and bought tickets. The whole way up and down took us about two hours. 

Von Neapel gibt es eine direkte Zugverbindung nach Pompeji (dauert etwa 30 Minuten), von wo aus regelmäßig Busse zum Vesuv fahren. Vesuv-Tickets sind nur online erhältlich und es wird empfohlen, sie im Voraus zu kaufen, da es auf dem Vulkan kein gutes Signal gibt. Wir haben den Kauf etwas unterschätzt und dank T-Mobile nach mehreren Anläufen zum Glück mal eine Weile ins Internet geschnappt und Tickets gekauft. Wir haben für den ganzen Auf- und Abstieg etwa zwei Stunden gebraucht.

Zato Pompeje byly časově náročnější. 4 hodiny nejsou ani z daleka dost. Asi proto jsme o necelou hodinu ještě přesáhli, naštěstí nás nikdo po zavíračce nevyhnal. Pompeje jsou krásné, dýchá na vás historie a při pohledu na Vesuv tyčící se nad městem, pocítíte dominanci sopky nad lidským životem.

Pompeii, on the other hand, were more time-consuming. 4 hours is far from enough. That's probably why we exceeded less than an hour, fortunately no one kicked us out after closing time. Pompeii is beautiful, history breathes on you and when you look at Mount Vesuvius towering over the city, you will feel the dominance of the volcano over human life. 

Pompeji hingegen war zeitaufwändiger. 4 Stunden sind bei weitem nicht genug. Wahrscheinlich haben wir deshalb weniger als eine Stunde überschritten, zum Glück hat uns niemand nach Feierabend rausgeschmissen. Pompeji ist wunderschön, die Geschichte atmet Sie ein und wenn Sie auf den Vesuv blicken, der über der Stadt thront, werden Sie die Dominanz des Vulkans über das menschliche Leben spüren.

Poslední den jsme si prošli Neapol. Celkově mě překvapilo, že i přes nepořádek jsou zde krásná a historická místa, která rozhodně stojí za vidění. Například některé oblasti u moře, hrad Castel Nuovo, nebo Castel  San´t Elmo.

We walked through Naples the last day. Overall, I was surprised that despite the clutter, there are beautiful and historic places that are definitely worth seeing. For example, some areas by the sea, Castel Nuovo, or Castel San´t Elmo.

Am letzten Tag sind wir durch Neapel gelaufen. Insgesamt war ich überrascht, dass es trotz des Durcheinanders schöne und historische Orte gibt, die auf jeden Fall sehenswert sind. Zum Beispiel einige Gebiete am Meer, Castel Nuovo oder Castel San´t Elmo.
