VÁNOCE V ZÁHŘEBU/ CHRISTMAS/ WEIHNACHTEN IN ZAGREB

Jelikož jsem díky nemoci nemohla jet na plánované trhy do Vídně a můj přítel odmítl se mačkat mezi davy turistů, vymyslel cestu na vánoční trhy do chorvatského Záhřebu. Už několik let se trhy v tomto hlavním městě řadily mezi ty nejkrásnější v Evropě a musím říct, že tomu tak i je. Do Záhřebu se z Brna jede cca 8 hodin autobusem, tedy bylo jasné, že se bude jednat spíše o prodloužený víkend. Flixbusem jsme jeli v sobotu ve 2 hodiny ráno a přijeli téhož dne v 9 dopoledne. Pro naši smůlu celý den pršelo, proto jsme se vydali do jednoho z několika místních muzeí - do čokoládového s možností ochutnávky. JAKO milovníci jsme si prohlídku celkem prodloužili, protože nehlídaná ochutnávka stála za to! Muzeum moc doporučuji. Jako vstupenku dostanete krabičku se vzorky zdarma. Téhož dne jsme se ještě ubytovali a zašli si na večeři k jezeru. 

Since I couldn't go to the planned markets in Vienna due to illness, and my friend refused to squeeze in the crowds of tourists, he devised a trip to the Christmas markets in Zagreb, Croatia. For several years, the markets in this capital have been ranked among the most beautiful in Europe, and I must say that they are. It takes about 8 hours to get to Zagreb from Brno by bus, so it was clear that it would be more of a long weekend. We took the Flixbus at 2 o'clock in the morning on Saturday and arrived the same day at 9 AM. Unfortunately for us, it rained all day, so we went to one of the several local museums - a chocolate one with a tasting option. AS lovers of chocolate, we extended the tour quite a bit, because the unsupervised tasting was worth it! I highly recommend the museum. As a ticket, you get a free sample box with chocolate. On the same day, we checked in and went to the lake for dinner. 

Da ich krankheitsbedingt nicht auf die geplanten Märkte in Wien gehen konnte und mein Freund sich weigerte, sich in die Touristenmassen zu quetschen, überlegte er sich eine Reise zu den Weihnachtsmärkten in Zagreb, Kroatien. Seit einigen Jahren zählen die Märkte in dieser Hauptstadt zu den schönsten in Europa, und ich muss sagen, dass sie es sind. Von Brünn nach Zagreb dauert es etwa 8 Stunden mit dem Bus, also war klar, dass es eher ein langes Wochenende werden würde. Wir sind am Samstag um 2 Uhr morgens mit dem Flixbus gefahren und am selben Tag um 9 Uhr angekommen. Leider hat es den ganzen Tag geregnet, also sind wir in eines der mehreren örtlichen Museen gegangen - ein Schokoladenmuseum mit Verkostungsoption. ALS Liebhaber von Schokolade haben wir die Tour um einiges verlängert, denn die unbeaufsichtigte Verkostung hat sich gelohnt! Ich kann das Museum sehr empfehlen. Als Eintrittskarte erhalten Sie eine kostenlose Probierbox mit Schokolade. Am selben Tag checkten wir ein und gingen zum Abendessen an den See.

 

 

Naše ubytování bylo blíže ke kraji města, než k centru, ale stálo za to. Kýčovité, ale útulné a dýchala na nás atmosféra Vánoc, navíc i zde pro nás byla neomezená dávka čokolády v dóze s miniatury kitkat, oreo milky a podobně. Proto bylo těžké druhý den z ubytování odejít na trhy a na hory. Hora SLJEM, to bylo pro mě úžasný překvápko. 1. pořádný sníh, nádherné výhledy, cesta lanovkou, i smích dětí na kopci, celé to zakončené ve vánočně zdobené restauraci s výhledem na svah. (Poznámka: hora leží nad městem, tramvají se jede cc 6 km z centra až k lanovce)

Our accommodation was closer to the edge of the city than the center, but it was worth it. Kitschy, but cozy and the atmosphere of Christmas breathed on us, in addition, there was also an unlimited amount of chocolate for us in a box with miniature kitkats, oreo milkies and the like. Therefore, it was difficult to leave the accommodation for the markets and the mountains the next day. Mountain SLJEM, that was a wonderful surprise for me. 1. good snow, wonderful views, a trip by cable car, even the laughter of children on the hill, all finished in a Christmas-decorated restaurant overlooking the slope. (Note: the mountain lies above the city, the tram takes cc 6 km from the center to the cable car)

Unsere Unterkunft lag näher am Stadtrand als im Zentrum, aber es hat sich gelohnt. Kitschig, aber gemütlich und die Atmosphäre von Weihnachten atmete uns ein, außerdem gab es für uns auch unbegrenzt Schokolade in einer Schachtel mit Mini-Kitkats, Oreo-Milkies und Co. Daher war es schwierig, am nächsten Tag die Unterkunft für die Märkte und die Berge zu verlassen. Mountain SLJEM, das war eine wunderbare Überraschung für mich. 1. Guter Schnee, herrliche Aussicht, eine Fahrt mit der Seilbahn, sogar das Lachen der Kinder auf dem Hügel, alles endete in einem weihnachtlich geschmückten Restaurant mit Blick auf die Piste. (Anmerkung: der Berg liegt oberhalb der Stadt, die Tram fährt cc 6 km vom Zentrum zur Seilbahn)

Z kopce jsme zamířili směrem na trhy. I zde už sněžilo. Ve chvíli, kdy byla vánice jsme si prošli vánoční tunel Grič, který je pod městem a každý rok na Vánoce je jinak vyzdoben. Co se týká adventních trhů, tak nachází se na několika místech a každý trh je výzdobou jedinečný. Ačkoliv se jedná o komerční Vánoce - nechybí Coca Cola kamion, brandované ozdoby, stolky i domky, nebo Canon selfie koutek, tak rozhodně je to skvělý zážitek. Dýchá na vás pravá vánoční atmosféra, například najdete zde i místa se sbory v tradičních starších kostýmech, jež zpívají, či hrají koledy. V centru se nachází i několik food placů se speciálním jídlem, dali jsme si takzvané štrukli - smetana a brambory a pak guláš z chobotnice. 

We headed down the hill towards the markets. It has already snowed here too. When there was a blizzard, we went through the Christmas tunnel Grič, which is under the city and is decorated differently every year for Christmas. As for Advent markets, they are located in several places and each market is unique in its decoration. Although it is a commercial Christmas - there is a Coca Cola truck, branded decorations, tables and houses, or a Canon selfie corner, so it is definitely a great experience. A real Christmas atmosphere breathes on you, for example you will find places with choirs in traditional older costumes singing or playing carols. In the center there are also several food courts with special food, we had the so-called štrukli - cream and potatoes and then octopus goulash.

Wir gingen den Hügel hinunter zu den Märkten. Auch hier hat es schon geschneit. Als es einen Schneesturm gab, gingen wir durch den Weihnachtstunnel Grič, der sich unter der Stadt befindet und jedes Jahr anders zu Weihnachten geschmückt wird. Adventmärkte befinden sich an mehreren Orten und jeder Markt ist einzigartig in seiner Dekoration. Obwohl es ein kommerzielles Weihnachtsfest ist – es gibt einen Coca-Cola-Truck, Markendekorationen, Tische und Häuser oder eine Canon-Selfie-Ecke, also ist es definitiv ein tolles Erlebnis. Eine echte weihnachtliche Atmosphäre atmet Sie ein, zum Beispiel finden Sie Orte, an denen Chöre in traditionellen älteren Kostümen singen oder Weihnachtslieder spielen. Im Zentrum gibt es auch mehrere Food Courts mit Spezialgerichten, wir hatten das sogenannte štrukli - Sahne und Kartoffeln und dann Tintenfischgulasch. 

Druhý den, jsme se zastavili akorát už jen na trhu Doleč. Jedná se o celoroční záležitost s typickými červenými deštníky, což je jeden ze symbolů Záhřebu a zašli si na oběd s mořskými plody, ty mi můžeme. 

The second day, we only stopped at the Doleč market. It is a year-round affair with the typical red umbrellas, which is one of the symbols of Zagreb, and go for a seafood lunch, we can do that.

Am zweiten Tag hielten wir nur auf dem Doleč-Markt an. Es ist eine ganzjährige Angelegenheit mit den typischen roten Regenschirmen, die eines der Symbole von Zagreb sind, und gehen Sie zum Mittagessen mit Meeresfrüchten, das können wir tun.
