BARCELONA #2 - Ciutadella Park, Arco de Triunfo

Druhý den našeho pobytu jsme se rozhodly pro návštěvu nejbližších památek a jedné z menších tržnic - Mercat de Santa Caterina. V podstatě se jednalo o obdobnou tržnici jako jsou v Budapešti, či venkovní přímořské tržnice, akorát pod střechou. V nabízeném sortimentu převažovaly hlavně ryby a mořské plody. Viděli jste někdy tolik ryb pospolu? 

On the second day of our stay we decided to visit the nearest monuments and one of the smaller markets - Mercat de Santa Caterina. In essence, it was a similar market as in Budapest, or outdoor seaside markets, just under the roof. The offered assortment was dominated by fish and seafood. Have you ever seen so many fish together?

Am zweiten Tag unseres Aufenthaltes entschieden wir uns, die nächsten Denkmäler und einen der kleineren Märkte - Mercat de Santa Caterina - zu besuchen. Im Wesentlichen war es ein ähnlicher Markt wie in Budapest, oder Outdoor-Märkte am Meer, direkt unter dem Dach. Das angebotene Sortiment wurde von Fisch und Meeresfrüchten dominiert. Haben Sie schon einmal so viele Fische zusammen gesehen?

V blízkosti našeho ubytování a také tržnice se nacházel park Ciutadella, který jsem si dala již do itineráře na wordee. Park byl pro mě jednou z top dominant města, kterou jsem prostě musela navštívit. Vstup se neplatil, časově omezený nebyl a tak jsme libovolně prošly celý park. Nejvíce vyhledávaným místem v parku je nádherná fontána. Dále se zde nachází spousta laviček, možnost využití placené projížďky na lodičkách a několik menších stánků s občerstvením. 

Near our accommodation and also the market there was the park Ciutadella, which I already put in the itinerary on wordee. For me, the park was one of the top landmarks of the city that I  had to visit. There was free entry and no time limit, so we walked through the whole park. The most popular place in the park is a beautiful fountain. There are also plenty of benches, the possibility of using a paid boat ride and several smaller stalls with refreshments. 

In der Nähe unserer Unterkunft und auch des Marktes befand sich der Park Ciutadella, den ich bereits auf wordee in die Reiseroute aufgenommen habe. Für mich war der Park eines der Top-Wahrzeichen der Stadt, das ich besuchen musste. Es gab freien Eintritt und kein Zeitlimit, also spazierten wir durch den ganzen Park. Der beliebteste Ort im Park ist ein schöner Brunnen. Es gibt auch viele Bänke, die Möglichkeit einer kostenpflichtigen Bootsfahrt und mehrere kleinere Stände mit Erfrischungen.

Jak už to ve vyhledávaných a turisticky známých destinacích bývá, tak všude prochází potulní prodavači, kteří vás doslova oškubou o drobáky. Před fontánou nám jeden starý muž nabídl, že nás vyfotí. Po focení jsme od něj dostaly do ruky kokos a za chvíli si řekl o peníze. Za 4 kokosy jsme zaplatily 5 euro. 

As is often the case in popular and well-known tourist destinations, it is that wandering sellers are passing by, literally robbing you of small coins. In front of the fountain, an old man offered to take a picture of us. After the photo shoot, we got a coconut from him and after a while he talked about money. We paid 5 euros for 4 slices of coconut.

Wie so oft in beliebten und bekannten Touristenzielen kommen hier wandernde Verkäufer vorbei und rauben einem buchstäblich kleine Münzen. Vor dem Brunnen bot ein alter Mann an, ein Foto von uns zu machen. Nach dem Fotoshooting bekamen wir eine Kokosnuss von ihm und nach einer Weile sprach er über Geld. Wir haben 5 Euro für 4 Kokosnussscheiben bezahlt.

V podstatě naproti parku se nachází Arco de Triunfo, což je do češtiny Vítězný oblouk. O této památce v Barceloně jsem dříve neslyšela a byla jsem příjemně překvapena, když se naproti nám zjevil. 

Basically opposite the park is the Arco de Triunfo. I had never heard of this monument in Barcelona before and I was pleasantly surprised when it appeared opposite us. 

Grundsätzlich gegenüber dem Park befindet sich der Arco de Triunfo. Ich hatte noch nie von diesem Denkmal in Barcelona gehört und war angenehm überrascht, als es uns gegenüber auftauchte.
