RHODOS ČÁST PRVNÍ/ Rhodos part 1

Takhle se příspěvky a články psát nemají, ne negativně, ale jinak to nejde! Nesnáším ranní vstávání, jsem unavená, rozlámaná a protivná. Miluji svůj klid a spánek. Amen. Při plánované dovolené a letu v 5 ráno z Vídně mi stály hrůzou vlasy na hlavě. Ale víte co? Já to zvládla, a i když jsem za 24 hodin spala asi hodinu, někde tam vzadu v hlavě jsem sebrala veškerou energii a dala jsem to. Teď už vím, že nejít spát zvládnu. Když člověk chce, zvládne cokoliv. STAY POSITIVE! Do Řecka jsme přiletěli kolem 8. hodiny ranní. Na místě nás vyzvedla dodávka, která nás převezla do autopůjčovny, kde už na nás čekalo auto. První den jsme strávili více méně pohodově. Vybalili jsme si věci a prošli si obchůdky a market ve městě Faliakri, kde jsme bydleli v našem apartmánu, který jsme si objednaly přes booking.com. Dali jsme si první oběd, víno a hráli si na písečné pláži. Den jsme zakončili zmrzlinou a zaslouženým oddechnutím v posteli.

With a planned vacation and a flight at 5 in the morning from Vienna, my hair stood on end. But you know what? I managed it, and even though I slept about an hour in 24 hours, somewhere in the back of my head I gathered all the energy and gave it. Now I know I can manage not going to sleep. When a person wants to, he can do anything. STAY POSITIVE! We arrived in Greece around 8 o'clock in the morning. A van picked us up on the spot, which took us to the car rental office, where the car was already waiting for us. We spent the first day more or less comfortably. We unpacked our things and went through the shops and the market in the town of Faliakri, where we stayed in our apartment, which we ordered through booking.com. There was the first lunch, wine and playing on the sandy beach. We ended the day with ice cream and a well-deserved rest in bed.

Ich liebe meine Ruhe und meinen Schlaf. Amen. Bei einem geplanten Urlaub und einem Flug um 5 Uhr morgens ab Wien standen mir die Haare zu Berge. Aber weißt du was? Ich habe es geschafft, und obwohl ich in 24 Stunden etwa eine Stunde geschlafen habe, habe ich irgendwo in meinem Hinterkopf die ganze Energie gesammelt und sie gegeben. Jetzt weiß ich, dass ich es schaffe, nicht einzuschlafen. Wenn ein Mensch will, kann er alles tun. BLEIB POSITIV! Wir kamen gegen 8 Uhr morgens in Griechenland an. Vor Ort holte uns ein Transporter ab, der uns zur Autovermietung brachte, wo das Auto bereits auf uns wartete. Den ersten Tag verbrachten wir mehr oder weniger gemütlich. Wir packten unsere Sachen aus und gingen durch die Geschäfte und den Markt in der Stadt Faliakri, wo wir in unserem Apartment übernachteten, das wir über booking.com bestellt hatten. Es gab das erste Mittagessen, Wein und Spielen am Sandstrand. Den Tag ließen wir mit einem Eis und einer wohlverdienten Bettruhe ausklingen. 

 

Hned z rána jsme vyrazili vstříc místním lázním Kalithea. Jedná se o historickou budovu uprostřed krásné zahrady v těsné blízkosti moře. Vřídlo, ale nečekejte, prameny zde netečou. 

Right from the morning we set off towards the local spa of Kalithea. It is a historical building in the middle of a beautiful garden in close proximity to the sea. A spring, but don't wait, the springs don't flow here.

Gleich am Morgen machten wir uns auf den Weg zum örtlichen Kurort Kalithea. Es ist ein historisches Gebäude inmitten eines wunderschönen Gartens in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Meer. Eine Quelle, aber warten Sie nicht, die Quellen sprudeln hier nicht. 

 

Když jedete na ostrov Rhodos, nesmíte opomenout návštěvu stejnojmenného hlavního města. Ze všech koutů místních uliček na vás dýchá atmosféra dávných věků ať už z Paláce velmistrů, základů starého města, které jsou součástí kulturního dědictví UNESCO, nebo pozůstatky Acropolis. Možná jste to doposud netušili, ale právě zde se také nachází jeden sedmi divů starověkého světa, Kolos Rhodský. Pokud se vydáte místními uličkami, objevíte v nich nespočet menších podniků a obchůdků. Trochu mi to připomíná Chorvatsko. 

When you go to the island of Rhodes, you must not miss a visit to the capital of the same name. From all corners of the local streets, the atmosphere of ancient times breathes on you, whether from the Palace of the Grand Masters, the foundations of the old town, which are part of the UNESCO cultural heritage, or the remains of the Acropolis. You may not have known it until now, but this is also where one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, the Colossus of Rhodes, is located. If you walk through the local streets, you will discover countless smaller businesses and shops. It reminds me a bit of Croatia. 

Wenn Sie auf die Insel Rhodos reisen, dürfen Sie sich einen Besuch der gleichnamigen Hauptstadt nicht entgehen lassen. Aus allen Ecken der örtlichen Straßen weht einem die Atmosphäre der Antike entgegen, sei es vom Großmeisterpalast, den Fundamenten der Altstadt, die zum UNESCO-Kulturerbe gehören, oder den Überresten der Akropolis. Vielleicht wussten Sie es bisher noch nicht, aber hier befindet sich auch eines der Sieben Weltwunder der Antike, der Koloss von Rhodos. Wenn Sie durch die örtlichen Straßen spazieren, werden Sie unzählige kleinere Geschäfte und Geschäfte entdecken. Es erinnert mich ein wenig an Kroatien.

V blízkosti  Rhodosu se nachází vrchol s dominantním křížem na kopečku Filerimos, na opačné straně od kříže leží zbytky Chrámu bohyně Athény Polias, který jsme ovšem nenavštívili. A čím je toto místo nejzajímavější? Pro mě rozhodně nezapomenutelným výhledem na západ slunce a pávy, kterými je kopec doslova obsypán. Pro ty, kteří se bojí ptáků, návštěvu rozhodně nedoporučuji. 

POKRAČOVÁNÍ PŘÍŠTĚ... 

Near Rhodes there is a peak with a dominant cross on the Filerimos hill, on the opposite side of the cross lie the remains of the temple of the goddess Athena Polias, which we did not visit. And what is the most interesting thing about this place? For me, it is definitely an unforgettable view of the sunset and the peacocks that literally cover the hill. For those who are afraid of birds, I definitely do not recommend a visit.

In der Nähe von Rhodos gibt es auf dem Filerimos-Hügel einen Gipfel mit einem dominanten Kreuz, auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite des Kreuzes liegen die Überreste des Tempels der Göttin Athena Polias, den wir nicht besucht haben. Und was ist das Interessanteste an diesem Ort? Für mich ist es auf jeden Fall ein unvergesslicher Anblick des Sonnenuntergangs und der Pfauen, die den Hügel buchstäblich bedecken. Wer Angst vor Vögeln hat, dem kann ich einen Besuch auf keinen Fall empfehlen.
