Co vidět v Hustopečích?/ What to see in Hustopeče?/ Was gibt es in Hustopeče zu sehen?

Nedaleko Brna se nachází asi 5tisícové město Hustopeče. A čím je tak specifické? Například slavnostmi vína, burčáku a také mandloní, kam jsem zavítala letošní jaro poprvé. Tento event se každoročně pořádá koncem března až začátkem dubna a probíhá celý víkend. Z Brna se tam dostanete poměrně snadno vlakem, a to pouze za pár korun. Linky jezdí pravidelně až do pozdějšího večera, proto se nemusíte bát, že byste nestihli i večerní program.

Not far from Brno is the town of Hustopeče, with a population of about 5,000. And what makes it so special? For instance, its wine, burčák (a type of young wine), and almond festivals, which I visited for the first time this spring. This event is held annually at the end of March and the beginning of April and runs all weekend. You can get there from Brno relatively easily by train, and it costs only a few crowns. Trains run regularly until late in the evening, so you don't need to worry about missing the later events.

Nicht weit von Brünn entfernt liegt die etwa 5.000 Einwohner zählende Stadt Hustopeče. Was macht sie so besonders? Zum Beispiel die Wein-, Burčák- und Mandelblütenfeste, die ich in diesem Frühjahr zum ersten Mal besucht habe. Diese Veranstaltung findet jedes Jahr Ende März/Anfang April statt und dauert das ganze Wochenende. Von Brünn aus kommt man relativ einfach mit dem Zug dorthin, und das kostet nur ein paar Kronen. Die Züge fahren regelmäßig bis spät abends, sodass man sich keine Sorgen machen muss, den späteren Teil des Programms zu verpassen.

Chodila jsem na zpěv!/ Singing course/ Gesangskurs

V lednu mi osud do cesty zavedl Daliho a Davida, dva velmi šikovné kluky z Brna. David se aktivně věnuje profesionálnímu focení a Dali je lektorem zpěvu, hrdelního zpěvu, rétoriky a hraní na didgeridoo. Jeho tvorba mě natolik zaujala, že jsem začátkem jara využila možnosti zúčastnit se zkušebních lekcí zdarma. Vyzkoušela jsem speciální dechová cvičení, zjistila, co jsou to meditační zpěvy, a zahrála na "dřevěnou trubku". 

In January, fate introduced me to Dali and David, two very talented guys from Brno. David is actively involved in professional photography, and Dali is a teacher of singing, throat singing, rhetoric, and didgeridoo playing. His work interested me so much that I took the opportunity to attend free trial lessons at the beginning of spring. I tried special breathing exercises, learned what meditation chants are, and played the "wooden trumpet."

Im Januar führte das Schicksal Dali und David in meinen Weg, zwei sehr talentierte Jungs aus Brünn. David beschäftigt sich aktiv mit professioneller Fotografie, und Dali ist Lehrer für Gesang, Kehlgesang, Rhetorik und Didgeridoo-Spielen. Seine Arbeit interessierte mich so sehr, dass ich die Gelegenheit nutzte, Anfang Frühling an kostenlosen Probestunden teilzunehmen. Ich probierte spezielle Atemübungen aus, erfuhr, was Meditationsgesänge sind, und spielte die "Holztrompete".

PRAŽSKÝ SEN?/ Prague dream?/ Prager Traum

Od ledna jsem žila tak trochu "pražský sen". Díky novým přátelům a pracovním aktivitám zahrnujícím různá školení jsem do hlavního města zavítala hned několikrát. Při jedné z mých cest jsem se konečně podívala do podniku, kde hrajeme CHYTRÝ KVÍZ! Ano, slyšíte dobře... JE OSTUDA, že do té doby jsem v Praze na této zábavné formě hospodského kvízu ještě nebyla, a zvlášť, když se týká mé pracovní činnosti. Plzeňka u Brabců je krásný podnik na Proseku, kde si můžete vychutnat nejen vychlazené pivo, ale také skvělé jídlo a zahrát si o super ceny.

Since January, I've been living a bit of a "Prague dream". Thanks to new friends and work activities, including various training sessions, I've visited the capital several times. On one of my trips, I finally went to the place where we play SMART QUIZ! Yes, you heard that right... IT'S A SHAME that until then, I had not yet experienced this fun form of pub quiz in Prague, especially since it relates to my work. Plzeňka u Brabců is a beautiful venue in Prosek where you can enjoy not only chilled beer but also great food and play for amazing prizes.

Seit Januar lebe ich ein bisschen einen "Prager Traum". Dank neuer Freunde und beruflicher Aktivitäten, einschließlich verschiedener Schulungen, habe ich die Hauptstadt mehrmals besucht. Bei einer meiner Reisen habe ich endlich das Lokal besucht, in dem wir SMART QUIZ spielen! Ja, Sie haben richtig gehört... ES IST EINE SCHANDE, dass ich bis dahin diese unterhaltsame Form des Kneipenquiz in Prag noch nicht erlebt hatte, besonders da es mit meiner beruflichen Tätigkeit zu tun hat. Plzeňka u Brabců ist ein schönes Lokal in Prosek, wo man nicht nur gekühltes Bier genießen, sondern auch großartiges Essen und tolle Preise gewinnen kann.
